Firefox 1.5 Special Report: Able to access new Yahoo Mail beta

Joseph Mina notes that Firefox 1.5, and not Safari, is able to access Yahoo's new beta web-based e-mail service.

Joseph writes:

"Yahoo has just announced Yahoo Mail, however, it's still in Beta Form. While available through Firefox, it is not accessible in Safari. Would be great to have this Mail program in Safari. It seems Yahoo's Apple bias is stronger than ever.

"The beta version has the look and feel of Microsoft Entourage, including color and graphic capabilities, and a preview pane below the list of e-mails in a particular folder. Quite a change.

"I've tried it out in Firefox. Have not noticed any problems so far."
