As previously reported, the $99.99 cost will require customers to agree to a three-year voice-and-data plan. Pricing jumps up considerably for two-year plans at 449 Canadian dollars ($470) while a one-year contract calls for 499 ($522) for both handsets.
The Rogers documents also indicate the Xperia Arc will come with a 16GB microSD while the Xperia Play has an 8GB card. What's more, the Xperia Play will also come preloaded with a number of game titles, including Sims 3, FIFA 10, Madden 2011, and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline.
In an interesting and somewhat related note, we're still yet to see Verizon make any noise in regards to their carrying of the Xperia Play. Thein early February whereas Verizon was quick to confirm they would this spring. At one time, the Xperia Play to go on sale April 14, but that time has come and passed with no further announcements.
