Apple has released Final Cut Pro 1.2.5. It requires Mac OS 9.0 or later. It is a free update (the actual download is from this link). An Apple press release states: "Final Cut Pro 1.2.5 adds support for: the 16:9 widescreen format, which lets users capture, edit, add effects, composite and export video in the widescreen format; native YUV processing, which preserves the color fidelity of original source material; and 'make reference movie,' a feature which saves rendering time and preserves valuable disk space by minimizing file sizes and using 'pointers' to source files." Also see the Final Cut Pro web site for more details. Although not specific to the new update, Apple has also updated 5 TIL articles on Final Cut Pro. For example, TIL article #58630 is titled "Final Cut Pro: Allocating Memory" and TIL article #31197 is titled" Final Cut Pro: How to Delete the Preferences File" (do a search on "Final Cut Pro" for the complete list of articles).
