Fidelity resets user passwords

CNET staff
If you are experiencing trouble accessing your Fidelity account online, it may be because your password was changed due to security concerns. Steve Turner writes: "I called Fidelity to find out why I was unable to log on to my account. I was told that they had denied access to a number of accounts in order to prevent unauthorized access. They were concerned that when Intuit TurboTax users downloaded account information, TurboTax also inadvertently stored their Fidelity password on the user's disk. I was one of 86,000 customers affected." We presume the TurboTax problem is fixed, although we have yet to hear of any other reports on this issue.
