FAXstf Pro 5.0.2 issues still not resolved

Regarding the newly released FAXstf Pro 5.0.2:

Smart dialing bug remains? Several months ago, we reported a a problem with the Smart Dialing feature of FAXstf (it may not include a 1 and/or area code for long distance calls - or omit them from local calls - as needed). Dale Sorenson writes: "I spoke with an STF tech rep this morning who confirmed that the problem still is not fixed in FaxSTF Pro 5.0.2."

Fax receive freeze Scott Rose writes: "Despite all the bug fixes in FAXstf Pro 5.0.2, it still does not address the primary problem that we have been having: FaxSTF freezes whenever we receive a fax. The fax receives okay, but once we launch FaxBrowser and double-click on the fax to view it, FaxSTF freezes. This is 100% reproducible every single time a fax is received." Clearly, not FAXstf user has this problem.

Update: Brett Wickens received the following reply from STF tech support on this matter: "I would suggest that you trash FaxMonitor, FaxPrint, Queue Monitor, Queue Watcher, STF Phonebook Lib, STF Toolbox, and STFInit from the Extensions folder and the Components and Drivers folders from the STF folder in your System Folder and then reinstall the FAXstf Pro 5.0."

Dale Sorenson suggests that insufficient memory may be the cause here. He writes: "I increased the Fax Browser memory size to 8 Mb and the DesktopFax memory size to 1 Mb and the problem stopped."
