Explorer and Web Quick problem

Update Mark Koldys writes about a bug involving Internet Explorer 3.0.1 and Web Quick (confirmed by at least one other user): "Using the Web Quick 'Quick Search: Open Location [URL]' feature, when you type in a location, extraneous text precedes what you typed in. This does not happen with Netscape and Web Quick.

Update: Mark Koldys writes of a work-around for this bug: "If you type in a full URL, including the http:// part, it should work fine. Only if you abbreviate it and start with www does the extraneous text get added."
