EndNote and Word 98 problem: Niles Software provides a work-around

A Niles Software web page describes a problem using EndNote with Word 98: "When opening a Word 5 Plug-In Module or Word 6 Add-in document in Word 98, running the Format Bibliography or Unformat Citations command will convert that document into a Word 98 Add-in document. Word 98 users might run into the problem of not being able to format/unformat Word 5 documents created with the Plug-In Module, or Word 6 documents formatted with the Add-in. When these documents are opened in Word 98 and saved before converting, the field codes get corrupted and EndNote will not recognize them." The web page provides a work-around. (Thanks, Terri Allen.)
