Drink to the holiday weekend with CNET's signature 'Redball' (Open_Tab)
Start off the Labor Day weekend with our CNET-themed cocktail.
Looking for a drink idea that matches up with your tech news? We've got one right here for you.
Try out the CNET "Redball" cocktail, which was developed by producer Bryan VanGelder and made its debut on the latest episode of Open_Tab. The drink celebrates the 100-episode milestone reached by The 3:59 podcast, and was presented to guests Roger Cheng and Ben Fox Rubin. (Note that this is an alcoholic drink made for those who can legally drink. CNET asks that you please drink responsibly and with moderation.)
Here's the recipe:
- 1 part apple vodka
- 1 part cinnamon whisky (or schnapps)
- 4 parts cranberry juice
- A splash of something sparkling (like Ginger Ale)
Mix with a light shake and serve on the rocks. Garnish with a bit of cinnamon and a red apple if you would like.
