DoubleTwist adds Android Market integration to sync software

DoubleTwist users now can search the Android Market from a Mac and download apps.

After picking up an endorsement from T-Mobile back in January, DVD Jon continues to add new features and enhancements to the client. The Mac version of DoubleTwist now lets users search the Android Market directly from their desktop in a clean and easy-to-use interface. Results provide the full market description, comments, and user ratings. Furthermore, you can scan a 2D barcode from any Android handset and jump directly to the download page in the Android Market.

As of now, anyone can head to to check out the Android Market search capability. The new PC iteration of DoubleTwist is promised for this summer, as is over-the-air (OTA) installation of applications.
