Don't battle the Terminator T-800, own one

"Terminator: Genisys" is out, and so, soon, will be a life-size Terminator T-800 endoskeleton bust. Because nothing says shabby Skynet chic like a killer robot on the fireplace mantle.

When you need something a little extra sinister as home decor, nothing says "Use a drink coaster, or else" quite like a life-size Terminator T-800 endoskeleton bust.

Sent by Skynet from 2029 to 1984 Los Angeles, the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Series 800 Terminator had one mission -- to murder Sarah Connor, mother of John Connor, the leader of the future human Resistance. With this week's release of ' Terminator: Genisys," the remix of the 1984 classic "Terminator" film, comes word of this bust version of Terminator T-800 from Sideshow Collectibles.

The bust measures an intimidating 2 feet (about half a meter) tall and 17 inches (43 centimeters) wide at the shoulders. It comes with creepy red light-up eyes and an articulated head, making the collectible one step closer to your own personal connection to Skynet.

Thankfully, this Terminator T-800 bust isn't programmed to kill. It retails for $900 (about £580, AU$1,200), and is expected to ship next spring. If you don't have a Cyberdyne salary to pay for your own killer robot, Sideshow Collectibles offers a payment plan.

If you're planning on collecting all the Terminator robots, you can find a life-size T-600 bust, a life-size T-800 combat veteran bust and a full T-800 endoskeleton replica from Sideshow Collectibles. Just don't blame us for helping you build a shrine to the very robots who might end up as our evil overlords. Extra caution to those customers with the last name Connor.
