Actors Peter Capaldi as the Doctor and Jenna Coleman as his confident companion Clara will kick off season 8 of "Doctor Who" on August 23 with the feature-length episode titled "Deep Breath," on BBC America in the US and BBC One in the UK.

Fans have already gotten a glimpse of a darker Doctor with the first foreboding teaser trailer and again with electrifying footage of the Doctor in danger thanks to an exploding Tardis.

But in this new full-length trailer, we see the Doctor and Clara side by side in the Tardis having a rather chilling conversation.

"I'm the Doctor," Capaldi as the Doctor says in the trailer. "I've lived for over 2,000 years. I've made many mistakes. It's about time I did something about that."

"Where are we going," Clara asks.

"Into darkness," the Doctor answers.

The new trailer gives sneak peeks at episodes to come of space battles, aliens, possibly redesigned Cybermen, a Tyrannosaurus rex, a horse chase, and more.

"Life returns, life prevails," a sinister voice, possibly Davros, also narrates in the video.

Needless to say, the new season of "Doctor Who" should prove to be exciting especially if fans get to see the ultimate battle between the Doctor and his own demons.
