Disk utilities updates expected: TechTool; Norton

TechTool Pro 2.5.3 coming A posting from MicroMat Tech on the MacFixIt Forums states: "All of the Type 3 errors reported on MacFixIt have been fixed; version 2.5.3 is expected shortly, but I do not have a firm release time yet." (Thanks, Jim Mueller.)

NUM 5.0.1 and NAVM 6.0.1 coming Symantec informs us that Norton Utilities 5.0.1 and Norton AntiVirus 6.0.1 will be available in the "near future to address the bootability for new hardware. The NUM CD should be available before the NAVM CD. Customers that have new hardware that can't boot from the current (5.0.0/6.0.0) can request updated CD's from Customer Service."
