Speaking at a press conference in Japan, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer ramblingly suggested yet another Windows Vista delay. He suggested that Vista will "definitely" ship next year, but perhaps not in January, as Microsoft has previously said. Instead, Ballmer said the ship date could depend on when hardware manufacturers want to receive the software, and, uh, on "when it's ready." Yeah, I think that last part seems to be the sticky wicket, Steve-o.
