Dell added a second Advanced Micro Devices-based notebook to its product arsenal Monday, going after small-business customers with the new Latitude 131L.

Starting Tuesday, the 131L will go up on Dell's site for customers to order. It's a 15.4-inch widescreen laptop using AMD's Turion X2 or Mobile Sempron processors, just like the Inspiron 1501 that appeared on Dell's site last week. The Latitude 131L is more expensive than the Inspiron, but configuration details of the Latitude were not released Monday, making it hard to figure out why. The 131L costs $899 with a Turion X2, while a version with the Mobile Sempron costs $629. The Inspiron costs $649 and $549 for the Turion X2 or Mobile Sempron versions, respectively.

The notebooks are Dell's first to use AMD's chips. Dell ended its long-standing exclusive relationship with Intel earlier this year with new servers and desktops.
