Dayna PCI Ethernet card problem and possible work-around

Jeff Edwards complains of a problem with his Dayna PCI Ethernet card in his Performa 6400/180: "The card works - briefly. All Ethernet and TCP/IP connections seem to time out after about an hour of activation." Dayna's tech support had a suggested work-around.
