'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' gets pugged

A new video from The Pet Collective might make you think twice before you bring home a stray puppy. Especially if it's a pug.

After a couple of months' worth of teasers, "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" finally drops today, and a lot of simian-loving fans will soon have cinematic satisfaction. But in case you can't make it to the theaters this weekend, the folks over at The Pet Collective have put out a video that might not be as rich an experience as a 130-minute-long movie, but it sure is cute!

The clip is entitled "Dawn of the Planet of the Pugs" and follows what happens when a man finds a pug puppy in a field near his home, takes the critter home, and finds a "best new friend." Let's just say the other pugs in the forest are none too pleased.
