We're pretty scared of DARPA's new sniper bullet. It's capable of changing course mid-shot to hit a target on the move, enabling even untrained snipers to hit their marks. We're trying to appreciate the futuristic manner of the tech, but we'll admit, we're scared at the implications these bullets might have for future warfare.

We're also lightening up the mood with Bodyprint, a technology from Yahoo Labs that may bring biometric scanning to capacitive screens in low-cost cell phones. Lastly, we take a look at the smart kitchen space of the future, with a concept that looks forward to the year 2025.
