CU-SeeMe and Mac OS 8.5 conflict confirmed; new version coming

With Mac OS 8.5 approaching release, we are getting more and more reports of impending conflicts. For example, Kaj Hejer writes: "I'm running MacOS 8.5 (FC 4) and have downloaded the demo-version of CU-SeeMe 3.1.1.003. This version work just fine with MacOS 8.1. But with MacOS 8.5, the application crashes on launch.

White Pine tech-support replied: "We are aware of the problems that CU-SeeMe has with Mac OS 8.5 Beta and will release a new version of CU-SeeMe in the near future please watch our Web site for updates."
