Technology services giant Computer Sciences Corp. won a $22 million contract with the Biometrics Fusion Center of the U.S. Department of Defense. CSC will try to develop a access system that will look at a person's fingerprints and other biometric information for granting access. Iris scans, voice and facial recognition have all been used as biometric identifiers. While each works, each is also subject to flaws. Combining biometric tests, ideally, will reduce mistakes.

The system will mostly be grant (or deny) admissions for non-U.S. citizens to U.S. military facilities.
