Last week, we promised you video footage of the Lightning GTS -- a stunning, British-built electric supercar. Today, we bring you that footage, along with more information straight from the horse's mouth -- that horse being Chris Dell, Lightning's MD.

We're sure you'll agree it looks absolutely stunning, but it's not just a pretty face. This is a running prototype, but it's hoped that the finished one will be able to accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds. The top speed will be limited to 130mph, and it will run for around 185 miles on a single charge. Recharging will be done overnight, or in as little as 10 minutes using a three-phase power outlet.

Sounds too good to be true? We'll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, watch, enjoy, then sit impatiently until it arrives in the next 12-18 months. -Rory Reid
