MobileMe is Apple's replacement for its .Mac service and allows email, contact and calendar items to be pushed over mobile networks

MobileMe, Apple's replacement for its .Mac service, will store your emails in the clouds. Wait, that's not really right. The service operates over-the-air to constantly update your email, contact and calendar items. It's similar to Exchange, but "for the rest of us", according to Philip Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Apple.
