Congratulations to John P. of Borger, Texas, for winning a Neo smartpen N2 in last week's giveaway. This week's prize is sure to light up your life. It's a pack of three Playbulb Candles from MiPow, a maker of mobile accessories and smart lights.
Playbulb Candles look like -- you guessed it -- candles, but have LED lights instead of flames and can be controlled from a smartphone. Using the free Playbulb X app for iOS or Android, you can change the battery-operated Candle's colors, brightness and effects.
A sensor built in to the product lets you blow the light out like a real candle and also blow to turn off the lavender scent-chip that gives the light a nice candle-like aroma. You can even turn the product upside down to transform into a candle holder for a real live votive candle (the old-fashioned kind with a flame).
