Crave giveaway: Moov fitness wearable
The Moov fitness band doesn't just track steps and calories, it gives real-time coaching. If you're lucky, you could get one free.
If you're going to bother to exercise, you probably want to make sure you're doing it right. This week's freebie is a Moov fitness wearable, which can be worn on the wrist or ankle. While the Moov does count steps and calories, it's unusual in that it also provides real-time coaching -- which can be audio or even video cued by your movements.
Right now there are downloadable apps available (for
and ) so the Moov can coach you through walking and running, cardio boxing, a 7-minute calisthenics workout and even swimming. The company says a cycling app is coming soon, and it's working on adding other activities, as well as sleep tracking.The Moov, designed by a former Apple engineer, came out of a successful crowdfunding campaign, and its platform is still growing. So if you want help with your form from a fitness device that's building up its own strength too, take a shot at winning a Moov. The winner gets a package of one Moov, charger, wristband and ankle band, which usually costs $119.
What do you have to do to score a Moov? There are a few rules, so please read carefully.
