Mitsubishi doesn't sell the Colt in the United States, but it's big in Europe, and, in keeping with a new trend, this latest version gets a retractable hardtop. Designated the Colt CZC, this little car uses a 1.5-liter, double-overhead-cam turbocharged engine with Mitsubishi's MIVEC variable valve timing. That gets it from 0 to 62mph in 8.4 seconds and puts its top speed at 127mph. Those aren't supercar numbers, but they're very good for a car in this segment and a reason why Mitsubishi should consider adding the Colt to its U.S. lineup.
