Control your dSLR using your iPhone

If you've been itching for an excuse to marry your photography hobby with your addiction for all things Apple, there's now an app that will let you take photos with your Canon SLR from your iPhone.
OnOne software has released an application called DSLR Remote, which acts almost like an old-school cable release, except much more sophisticated.
Using the software, you can adjust a wide range of shooting settings via your iPhone or iPod Touch, like shutter speed, aperture, white balance, and preview what the camera sees using live view.
Before you get too excited about the prospect of shooting with your iPhone, remember that the camera has to be tethered to a computer that is Wi-Fi enabled — this app doesn't magically give your Canon dSLR wireless capabilities.
Nikon users need not feel maligned, as the developers have said that a Nikon version is in the works. The application is available from the app store for AU$12.99.
