Intel's Haswell chipset officially launches as part of the Computex trade show and that means a whole new generation of ultrabooks, tablets, and other computer systems and devices are in store. Second generation Windows 8 devices could finally give the platform the push it needs to get things moving again.

Alongside Intel's Core and Atom announcements we can expect news from Asus, Acer, Sony, Seagate, Samsung, Dell, and many more through the days ahead. Plus we can't help but wonder how big a splash Android could make in Taiwan this year, or whether Windows 8.1 will be enough to keep Google's baby in the smartphone corner.

We'll keep all the latest news from Computex 2013 rounded up right here as it comes to hand from the CNET team on the ground at the show.
