Update, July 13, 2015, 1:35 p.m. PT: Warner Bros. has officially released the trailer for "Suicide Squad" they shared with attendees to this weekend! Check it out below in all its glory.

Movie and TV studios always use the pop-cultural epicenter that is San Diego Comic-Con to release trailers for upcoming films and shows, and sometimes they treat audiences to a little extra -- and while this year was no different, it's not every year we get to see behind the scenes on a new "Star Wars" movie.

From "Star Wars" to "Batman v Superman" and from "The Man From UNCLE" to a glimpse of the upcoming "Arrow" and "Flash" spinoff, we've scoured the Web and compiled some of the footage from this weekend for easy viewing -- since we're pretty sure everyone will be talking about them this week.

It's important to note that this only includes official trailers released this weekend. Sadly, that means no "Deadpool" or "X-Men: Apocalypse." Rest assured that if these are posted online soon we'll update this list to include them!

Movies

'Suicide Squad'

Warner Bros. and DC Comics have released an official version of the trailer introducing us to Task Force X; and it looks much better than the creepy pictures we've seen so far. Plus, check out ultra creepy Jared Leto at the end. (Can you name all the characters in the upcoming film?) And that music? Chills, as a super creepy version of The Bee Gees' "I Started a Joke" plays. Bonus points if you can spot the Batman mask.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

Director J.J. Abrams shared a heart-warming behind the scenes video of production on the new movie, and took the opportunity to weigh in on the diversity of the Star Wars universe. If you want to watch the whole Comic-Con panel, it's now posted online.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'

We didn't get to see everything we wanted in this trailer (where's Aquaman? The Flash?) and some we only got to see briefly (was that Wonder Woman?).

'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2'

A propaganda video from the film's dystopian universe was released, and while it isn't the much-talked-about new trailer that's apparently being kept under wraps, it is pretty exciting to see Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen for the final time.

'The Man from UNCLE'

Based on the original TV series, this remake is set in the '60s and stars Henry Cavill as CIA spy Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (from "The Social Network") as Illya Kuryakin of the KGB. The film also stars Alicia Vikander of "Ex Machina."

'Warcraft'

Legendary Pictures gave Comic-Con attendees a look at the new fantasy film based on the massively successful video game series -- albeit with a catch. You can only view the short interactive scene using Google Cardboard. CNET's Nick Statt talks more about the film studio's collaboration with Google and how you can view the footage.

TV shows

'Agents of SHIELD'

No real new footage, but a great look back in this brief recap, plus the announcement that season 3 will feature the Secret Warriors, which tell the story of super-powered agents working with Nick Fury. The new season begins September 29 on ABC, and you can watch the panel online now.

'Arrow'

So it's just a highlight reel, but, man, who doesn't need a recap after the whirlwind of last season?

'Ash vs Evil Dead'

Ash and the boomstick are back, and Bruce Campbell looks as awesome as ever. The Starz series premieres on Halloween (duh) and it looks amahzing.

'The Bastard Executioner'

From Kurt Sutter, the creator of "Sons of Anarchy," comes this series about a knight in the time of King Edward I. It stars Katey Segal ("Sons of Anarchy") and Stephen Moyer ("True Blood").

'Childhood's End'

Based on Arthur C. Clarke's book of the same name, the Syfy miniseries gets a new trailer, which you can watch on the LA Times' Hero Complex. But its creepy cult-like guerilla marketing campaign around San Diego this weekend was what really generated a lot of talk. The three-night event premieres this December, and stars Charles Dance of Tywin Lannister fame as Karellen, the Supervisor for Earth. In the meantime, check out the latest trailer.

'Colony'

From Carlton Cuse, the executive producer of "Lost," comes this series about a family living in Los Angeles while it has become a city occupied by intruders. The USA network series stars Josh Holloway (also from "Lost") as a former FBI agent and Sarah Wayne Callies of "The Walking Dead" as his wife.

'Con Man'

"Firefly" stars Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk are reunited in this upcoming Vimeo meta series about...well, them, kind of, at conventions like Comic-Con. Kind of.

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow'

On what may very well become the craziest show on the CW, time travel and resurrection bring together a cast of misfits. Arthur Darvill ("Doctor Who") stars as Rip Hunter, who brings together Heat Wave and Captain Cold, White Canary, Atom, Hawkgirl and Martin Stein. At the panel it was also announced that Hawkman will make an appearance on the series, which premieres midseason.

Below is the footage shown in San Diego, as well as the first trailer, which dropped in May.

'Doctor Who'

Not only did we get to see a squeal-inducing trailer for the new season -- coming September 19 -- CNET's sister site GameSpot got a chance to sit down and talk with current Doctor Peter Capaldi about...playing with himself?

'The Expanse'

Syfy's new 10-episode space drama stars Thomas Jane ("The Punisher") and Steven Strait ("Revenge"). The show is set 200 years in the future and takes place as the search for a missing woman uncovers a vast conspiracy.

'Fear the Walking Dead'

AMC's spin-off of "The Walking Dead" has a full-length trailer, and it's a steamy little look at the zombie infection as it spreads through the suburbs. Zombies invade the West Coast on August 23.

'The Flash'

Again, no new trailer, but a great highlight reel!

'Game of Thrones'

Alright, there was no new footage of the show, per se, but we got a hilarious pop culture mash-up featuring the cast, a great look at some of their audition videos and

some pretty funny panel quotes! Check out both the videos here. The whole panel is now available to watch online.

'Hannibal'

The saddest part about this perfectly creepy look at the "Red Dragon" villain is that NBC only recently decided not to renew the fan favorite and critical darling for a fourth season.

'Heroes Reborn'

The record-breaking show heads back to the small screen for a 13-episode run -- for now. Original series regulars Jack Coleman and Greg Grunberg return on September 24.

Producer Tim Kring also gave Comic-Con attendees a look at the show's digital prequel, "Dark Matter." Check out that trailer below too.

'Into the Badlands'

AMC says its new original series is "very loosely based on the Chinese tale Journey to the West," featuring a look at a traveling duo on a journey to find enlightenment.

'iZombie'

Another highlight reel only, but the new season begins October 6.

'The Man in the High Castle'

Coming to Amazon Prime this fall, the series is based on the PKD book of the same name. Produced by Ridley Scott, the series takes place in an alternate universe shortly after the Axis has won World War II.

'Once Upon A Time'

Season 5 is set to begin September 27. Until then, ABC gave us a sneak peek at the rise of Dark Swan.

'Outcast'

From Robert Kirkman, creator of "The Walking Dead," comes this show about demonic possession, starring Patrick Fugit (the kid in "Almost Famous") and premiering in 2016.

'Person of Interest'

This highlight reel leads us directly into the 13-episode season 5, which is currently set to begin midseason.

'The Shannara Chronicles'

An MTV series based on the epic series of fantasy books by Terry Brooks, the show is set to debut this January and stars Gimli himself, John Rhys-Davies.

'Sherlock'

While most of the cast was not present in San Diego, the panel did present a message to fans that...well, left us with more questions than answers. In addition, our first look at the

upcoming "Sherlock" Victorian special was rather exciting.

'The Strain'

Fans of the Guillermo del Toro vampire show got to see some unusually lighthearted behind-the-scenes footage. The show began its second season this weekend on FX.

'Vixen'

Coming to CW Seed, the channel's digital-only arm, this animated show is set in the same universe as both "Arrow" and "The Flash."

'The Walking Dead'

On Friday, AMC premiered the season 6 trailer for Rick and company; the new season begins October 11. It was also announced that there would be a "Talking Dead Season 6 Preview Special" hosted by Chris Hardwick that airs August 23.
