GelaSkins offers an arty alternative to the many iPod skins, cozies and rubber casings owners have resorted to in an effort to protect their notoriously scratchable screen.

These GelaSkins iPod Art Skins come in a wide choice of graphics that include classic art, as well as designs from new artists. (Click here for CNET Review.) Choose a classic Art Deco Lempicka, or a Hokusai to envelop your iPod.

The covers are made of scratch resistant vinyl from 3M, an ironic choice, Popgadget points out, since they house an "MP3" player. The GelaSkins are available at UrbanRetro or the GelaSkins site for about $15. They come in sizes to fit all of the major iPods, including the old and new Nanos, the Mini, and the video versions.

Microsoft demos wearable holograms on HoloLens
