Clinical trials site gets $27 million
Acurian, which provides information on clinical trials of new drugs and therapies online, said Tuesday it raised $27 million in second-round funding. Euclid SR Partners led the funding round for Horsham, Pa.-based Acurian. Sofinov, Flatiron Partners, ProQuest Investments, Merck Capital Venture and J.P. Morgan Partners also participated in the round. Acurian plans to use the money to expand its online offerings and its database.
