CES: Taking the HTC Evo Shift 4G for a spin

LAS VEGAS--Sprint and HTC got a head start on CES 2011 Tuesday when they announced the long-awaited4G. We tracked the handset down today and gave it the full photo treatment. And even better, Sprint let us take away a review unit.
As Sprint's third 4G smartphone, the Evo Shift 4G joins the earlier
The Evo Shift 4G has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.6-inch capacitive touch screen. It runs Android 2.2 (Froyo) with HTC Sense and offers a loaded feature set that includes a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video capture, an HTML browser, Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot, messaging and e-mail, stereo Bluetooth, the usual Android apps, a music player, and a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7630 processor.
The HTC Evo Shift 4G will be available starting January 9 for $149.99 with a two-year contract. We'll double back in the next few days with a full review, but you can check outuntil then.
