CD-RW firmware update released

Apple has released CD-RW Drive Firmware Update 1.1 for Power Mac G4 systems via the Software Update mechanism and as a standalone installer. There is little information available on what it does, except:

"This update improves the CD-RW drive responsiveness after waking up from sleep in Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X. Installation requires a Power Macintosh G4 (QuickSilver) with an internal CD-RW drive."

Update: It appears, based on several reader reports, that the update is applied to standard CD-RW drives, Combo (DVD/CD-RW) drives, but not the SuperDrive.
