Check out the Czech Republic, where cell phone giant T-Mobile plans to sell wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the country by next summer. It would be a quantum leap from the two percent of Czech Republic citizens that now, T-Mobile estimates, have access to any kind of high-speed Internet connection. T-Mobile clearly expects to skirmish with incumbents, what with declarations like "for the first time, Czech customers will be able to completely give up their fixed lines" contained in its press release. The operator's mum about the pricing of triple play of phone, video and an Internet connection averaging 512 kilobits per second.
