Adrenaline junkies, capture all your thrills and spills with this inexpensive iPhone mount.

If you're a sports fanatic and have always wanted to capture your sporting activities as you see them, the Miveu-X accessory could be your best bet.

Designed by David McDonald, this ruggedized accessory allows you to capture videos of your adventures from your point-of-view using an iPhone 4/4S at a fraction of the price of dedicated sports-oriented video cameras.

The Miveu-X set consists of a mount, which can be secured onto the wearer's chest and a separate, rugged, high-impact case. The case is equipped with a wide-angle lens to enable users to capture wider perspectives and comes with an integrated shutter button as well. All you need to do is insert your phone into the case and attach it onto the chest mount's adjustable clip.

Unlike conventional camcorders, we think the benefit of using an iPhone is that one can immediately edit videos on your smartphone and share them on social media sites without the hassle of sorting through massive files on a personal computer.

Available in black, green, blue, or orange, the Miveu-X can be yours if you and enough other folks make a $75 pledge on the McDonalds' Kickstarter page. Kickstarter is a site where creative projects try to raise money to pay for manufacturing. If a project reaches its goal, the project gets funded and the backers receive the product. If not, no money changes hands.

At the time of writing, the Miveu-X project had 66 backers who had pledged $8,626, with 12 more days to go to reach its goal of $15,000.

We think this could have been a great tool to record those faceplants we made while learning to rollerblade.
