Can you spot the Apple laptop?

After observing this group of pictures, you might conclude that several ultrabook and hybrid tablet designs look an awful lot like a MacBook Air. See if you can spot the real Apple.

The designers at Samsung and HP sure love Apple's laptop design philosophy, but the duo may want to take a step back next generation and innovate a little bit. CNET found several new computers from these companies that look just like an Apple MacBook Air. Can you tell which one is the real Apple product in the picture above?

Our more discerning readers might easily spot the differences between each of these devices, but Crave decided to make it a little more challenging by shrinking the pictures down a bit. Readers who participated in our guessing game on Facebook had a pretty easy time spotting the real Apple, but the pictures were also much larger.

The related stories to the left contains links to CNET reviews of each computer included in the image. Highlight the space following this sentence to see which number is the Macbook: #4

In fairness, it's worth nothing the Macbook Air's similarities to past ultrathin laptops from other players in the game, such as Sony. Readers, what do you think about the similiarties in the picture above? Is imitation the sincerest form of flattery, or do companies need to wake up?

Highlight here to identify all four notebooks: From top left, clockwise - Samsung Series 7 Slate PC, HP Envy x2, Apple MacBook Air, HP Spectre XT TouchSmart Ultrabook.
