Camera shootout: HTC One X versus iPhone 4S

HTC's latest Android smartphone creation would love to beat the iPhone's camera at its own game.

Our pals at CNET Asia managed to get hold of HTC's new flagship handset, the HTC One X. It packs an 8-megapixel camera loaded with a backside-illuminated (BSI) sensor, and HTC claims it built its camera to run rings around the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, plus any comers.

The big question is how does the One X stack up against the reigning smartphone camera champ, the iPhone 4S. HTC's CEO thinks Apple's handset is no competition. Peter Chuo called out Apple at Mobile World Congress, saying point blank that the HTC One X has a superior camera. Aloysius Low of CNET Asia decided to put this trash talk to the test.
