Buzz Out Loud 1489: 7073, people, keep it simple (Podcast)

The most common iPhone passcodes are revealed on today's show (no, not by LulzSec), but Tong has a pager-callback suggestion for all of us. A proposal in Congress would force U.S. companies to actually tell us when they're hacked and our data is stolen (yes, please), and Rojadirecta becomes the people's hero in challenging the government's domain-name seizures. Go, Rojadirecta, go!

Molly Wood Former Executive Editor
Molly Wood was an executive editor at CNET, author of the Molly Rants blog, and host of the tech show, Always On. When she's not enraging fanboys of all stripes, she can be found offering tech opinions on CBS and elsewhere, and offering opinions on everything else to anyone who will listen.

Dear BOL,

Many a time have you mentioned how Canada typically gets the short end of the stick when it comes to Internet-based services such as Google Voice, Pandora, [insert awesome US-based service here], etc. Once again our clusterfrak system of licensing hoops will, at least in a cursory capacity, prevent us from getting iCloud anytime soon according to The Toronto Star (link below). This enraged feeling I have must be how Steve Jobs feels when there are only dark grey turtlenecks at The Gap and no black ones.
Keep up the great work! Bob “”The Analyst”" Starr (yup, I’m a business analyst…let the mocking begin lol)” Molly
