On today's show, Apple stands up for its developers, but not for the people who might be infected with malware. Nice, Apple. Real nice. Also, Microsoft introduces Mango and Ballmer accidentally introduces Windows 8, and the Falun Gong sues Cisco. Yeah, really. And for a good reason, too.

Lady Gaga Downloads Overwhelm Amazon
Hey Buzz Town,
Yesterday I was considering to buy Lady Gaga’s new album..but when I saw the price tag on Itunes I decided to wait..then I get a tweet stating that Amazon has it for 99¢. So I go to buy it with no problems on my Evo but my friend with his Thunderbolt and won’t download…he became frustrated with the issue. The order was paid for but cloud player came to a crawl .What ended up being a nice amazon promo for them ,ended up being a technical nightmare for its potential customers.I will still use the cloud player but Amazon should be careful on advertising stellar deals for gaga’s monster fan base especially on the debut date for the album…..let the cloud wars begin boom…….

Dear molly wood,
I have been trying to remain sane for a while now but alas the pills have not worked. See you are driving me bonkers!:). Every time I hear about “”chrome”" I remember the many many many times you luvvvvvv it and how you’ll never switch back. Heck! Even the tong has betrayed the loyal apple safari and switched. I would just Like you to list five great, can’t do without, better than as seen on tv reasons why chrome is so great (not a comparison to safari just your chrome puff goo goo gaga features you adore).
P.s. The apple logo ink on the back of my neck has nothing to do with this email.
P.s.s. Tell the “”tong”" he has to sit way in the back of our precious “”apple chapel”"….the creaky seat!:). HA!:)
P.s.s. LOVE THE SHOW!:)

hello buzz crew,
when i heard the story about facebook partnering with microsoft to do facial recognition to find lost and exploited children, I decided that it is time for me to pull the pictures of my kids off of my fb account.
I have long wanted to stop posting pics of my kids on facebook because of a study i read awhile back that suggested something like 90% of children these days have a web presence by age 5 year-old. Since i am so paranoid about my own privacy, I didn’t think that it was fair for my kids to have all this data and images of them being uploaded onto the internet without their agreement or even awareness. Yet, my initial abstinence lasted only as far as our first weekend outing…my kids are just so damn cute! However, if microsoft’s facial recognition software is anything like google voice’s transcription…I could just see one of my kids being identified as a “”lost or exploited”" children. And you can just imagine what other good stuff will follow that…
