The LastPass CEO explains how their system was hacked in detail while video game developer David Braben creates a USB stick sized PC for $25 which we all want. And we find out if the Chrome OS notebook will blend. Will it blend?

EMAILS

Hey Brian and today’s guest…

Have you guys noticed that no matter how many time you go into account settings on Facebook to turn off email and text notifications, Facebook randomly turns some of them back on. Just last week I turned off about 20 notifications that randomly were turned on and now again I am randomly signed up for Facebook Deals emails and group notifications. I never click to subscribe to anything and this is unacceptable by Facebook.

Love the show,
Danny from Des Moines

Hey Buzzards,

I’m in the military and stationed overseas and I think companies moving from disks to digital is a terrible idea! Besides for being deployed to areas of the world where we don’t have Internet connection (but we still get packages from Amazon via post office) a lot of the items we want to get has regional restrictions (like all the music and movies via PSN)! Although it costs more, I think companies will be leaving a lot of people out, not just us military members overseas, if they go pure digital download for there content like games, movies and OSes.

Thanks for hearing me out,

Ray in Japan

Computer Love

Hey love crew!

Trying to make a very long story short, I was dumped last June, two days before my 27th birthday, two weeks before what would have been our 7 year anniversary. I found out he was cheating with girls online and over the phone, again, while I worked and paid the bills. I confronted him expecting the same fight and his promises to change instead I came home from work to find him packing his truck and he moved back to Texas. (we lived in my home state of California) I thought I was going to marry this guy as soon as he found a job and we could afford it. Then he was gone.

After a lot of tears, which I still find while I type this, I’m better. I’m trying to start over. I dyed my hair a new color, have lost almost 50 lbs and I joined okcupid about three months ago. I met a couple of nice guys and recently had coffee with a guy that I’m really into. He’s 28, a programmer, makes me laugh, we have a ton in common, and he even owns his own home. The problem I’m having is, how do I tell him about my ex? Mainly the fact that I was with someone for seven years. I don’t want to make it a big deal, but I need to go slow because of what happened before, and like it or not, my ex is major part of my past.

I try not to brooch the subject and I always refer to my ex as “”a friend”" when I tell stories that involve him, which I try not to do but we really did everything together, but even if it’s not with this guy, eventually I’m going to have to let someone in and tell them.
It’s a bombshell and I know not to drop it on the first date, but the longer I wait before I tell a guy the more it feels like a bigger bomb. I’d like to bring it up naturally in conversation, but, 2nd date? 3rd? 5th?

Thanks buzz crew, I’ve had a hell of a year, including getting downsized last friday, but you’ve always been able to make me smile. I just keep swimming, and you guys make me feel a little less alone.

PS..

Molly, I just want you to know that you are amazing and proof that a woman can be smart, strong, funny, beautiful, bad-ass, opinionated and successful. Just wanted to say I really appreciate that you’re apologetically all those things. In short, you’re kick ass and I thought you should know.
