Dear Buzz Out Load Team,

I was wondering if there is a general problem (following the uplift of IOS 4.2 for the i-Pad) with the now Mute / Un-mute switch (as opposed to the much more useful orientation lock).

Having upgraded last evening when first released (18:00 Hrs GMT) – I find my new Mute switch – although it displays the graphic for Mute and Un-Mute – does nothing else – ina ny application including the i-Pod App.

I have raised a ticket with Apple (ref: 188755164) and they where very “”Pleased”" to receive my feedback – but I wonder if it is only me and I am an isolated example – or is there a bigger problem they have not yet admitted too?

Have you come across the problem yourselves – having downloaded the new IOS 4.2?

Looking forward to the next Pop-Cast.

Yours Sincerely

Clifford Shapland

Hey Buzz crew-
Long time listener here, about 3 years now. Love the addition of BT.
I work for the online retailer http://www.CSNStores.com in Boston and today we got a mysterious package from Google. I thought about calling the bomb squad but I decided to open them once I was close enough to smell it. To my surprise they were a bunch of pies! Apple pies to be exact, I wonder if they sent out a lot. And if they did, if the ones that went to Apple were considered a threat to Steve Jobs.
Google, they spread love and threats all in one pie.
Anyway love the show.
-Mike
PS. The pies were delicious!

Hey guys! Love the show and the new format. Tech + Laughs = Awesome Nerdom

I work at a Walgreens in Georgia and we already had 2 Wal-Pads aka the Maylong Android Tablet returned to our store! LMAO! Devices like this really make the Android platform look really bad! 256MB of internal memory is joke! The home screen looked ridiculously cheap and the touch response was horrible! I own an Android phone (Samsung Vibrant) and I love my phone and the platform! However, the everyday non-techy people STILL don’t understand Android and it’s many versions and devices. Fragmentation is definitely an issue and Google needs to step in do something.
