EtherPeek version 3.5 is the latest version of this "Ethernet network and protocol analyzer offers real-time and post-capture packet analysis" and more. (See it at Macworld Expo.)

PrintGuard 1.0.3 has several bug fixes. It's a control panel to alert users trying to print on previously identified network printers.

Revised Quicken 98? Frank Piccolo writes that, at least in Canada, Intuit has withdrawn Quicken 98 until January when it expects to release a re-vamped version that fixes numerous bugs. This is consistent with previous reports we have posted.

Now Utilities update coming? H. R. Goldman claims that Qualcomm told him to expect a new version of Now Utilities within the month.

Update: Scott Hannahs received the following note from Qualcomm: "As for the next update to Now Utilities, expect to see a maintenance update to 6.7 in the next few weeks. It will not allow for OS 8 compatibility, but it will fix a few bugs in 6.7. Look for it at the Now Utilities web site."

New version of TechTool Pro coming Expect a new version of TechTool Pro to arrive by February. It now looks like this version will include the "Norton Utilities" features (such as disk repair and file recovery) that MicroMat hinted they were working on awhile back.
