The issue affects Bush Australia's 23.6-inch Full HD LED LCD TV with Integrated DVD Player and USB Record function. The TV can be identified by the model number G2412FLEDV and serial numbers in the range between U0007780001 and U0007780800.

According to a notice published on the ACCC's dedicated recalls site, a hazardous liquid resembling small rain droplets may seep out of the back plastic cover of affected TVs over time.

"The droplets are highly acidic and may result in burns to skin, respiratory issues, or eye damage," the recall notice read. "If droplets are identified on the TV do not touch them."

Consumers with the affected models are advised to contact Bush Australia on 02 9714 3434 (select option 1) for instructions on how to return the TV and organise a replacement product.
