Britannica 2002 CD Mac OS X only

Despite published system requirements that include Mac OS 8.6 or higher, Mel Beckman found that the Britannica 2002 installer refused to install on anything except a Mac OS X machine. He writes: "When my copy arrived, I popped it into my year-old iMac, and the installer promptly told me 'Requires OS 10.0.0 or later.' The CD case lists "OS 8.6.x, OS 9.1.x, X, or higher. The product info page reiterates what's on the CD case, however, the installer won't install - it insists that it needs OS X!"

This is follows the path of the latest edition of the World Book CD-ROM version, which is also Mac OS X only.
