Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but that doesn't mean you have to know how to make it. For many, a bowl of cereal or some type of food in bar form does the trick. Others opt for a short wait in a fast-food line. Somewhere, between the chaos of wrestling with ingredients and the order of ordering from a drive-through, there must be a happy medium.

The Nostalgia Electrics FTW200 2-in-1 Breakfast Treats Maker is a no-nonsense, easy-to-use morning machine. The countertop clamshell-type gadget consists of two sets of cooking plates; one set is for waffles, and the other set is for making french toast or pancake sticks. The best part about either choice is the fact that small indentations around the edge of the cooking area are provided in case the desired end result is to be carried away. That's right: this machine makes breakfast on a stick.

For some, breakfast is just another time of day. Luckily, the harried and the nonharried alike will find utility in this kitchen gadget. While some may be rushing out the door, food on a stick firmly in hand, others will be able to calmly enjoy their meal, serenely dunking their skewers into warm bowls of syrup. Either way, for just under $40, this breakfast maker can smooth out the morning and is about as difficult to use as an alarm clock -- and a lot more fun than one, too.
