Breakaway gets boot from Nasdaq

Struggling Net consultancy Breakaway Solutions said that its common stock has been delisted from the Nasdaq. The company, based in Conshohocken, Pa., does not expect the delisting to have any impact on its day-to-day operations. Breakaway assists clients with Web development and creation of Internet strategies, and offers application-hosting services. The company expects to be available to trade through Pink Sheets, effective Thursday. Pink Sheets, a stock quotation service, handles high-risk ventures and isn't regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
