<b>RAM Doubler and floppy disks not mounting: problem and solutions?

I have now received two reports that link RAM Doubler 2.0.1 to a sporadic problem with floppy disks not being recognized or mounted - especially after a cold boot.

Stephen Camidge found this on his Power Mac 7200 running Mac OS 7.6.1. Oddly, he found that it only occurred if the "4 font files installed by Adobe Acrobat Reader" were also present.

Howard Kong had this problem on a PowerCenter 150, running Mac OS 7.6 or 7.6.1. He confirmed that it happened even when RAM Doubler 2.0.1 was the only extension loaded (and did not occur with RAM Doubler was disabled). A PRAM zap at first seemed to cure the problem, but the problem eventually returned.
