Boston Marathoner's head-cam captures blast
Runner Jennifer Treacy was approaching the finish line of the race when the first of two blasts went off in central Boston yesterday.
One of the runners in yesterday's Boston Marathon captured some sobering video footage from a head-mounted cam as the first of two bombs went off.
In their search for suspects, authorities looking into what is now being described as a terrorist act have appealed to the public to share any photos and videos they may have taken in Downtown Boston yesterday. The attack took three lives and injured more than 100 people.
YouTube created afor footage related to the Boston bombings, and this 15-second clip recorded by 46-year-old participant Jennifer Treacy is quickly reaching half a million views after being included.
Treacy's daughter posted the video to YouTube yesterday, writing: "My mom didn't finish the race, but we are all safe and that's what matters. My heart goes out to victims..."
