<b>Mac OS 8.1 and Global Village K56 flex PC card: conflict and work-around

Ken Mingis writes: "I have a Powerbook 3400 and use a Global Village K56 flex PC card. Ever since I installed Mac OS 8.1, I am unable to connect with my PC card after I have awakened my Powerbook from sleep. I try to dial in and nothing happens. I read on the O'Grady's PowerPage that disabling the GV PC Card Enabler extension eliminates the problem, although this means that you will be unable to fax." He tried it and it worked.

Ejecting and reinserting the card, when the problem occurs, will also work-around this bug.
