If you want a magic torch in your pocket, BlackBerry has you covered. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 won't take you to a magical land, but it is a smart phone packed with BlackBerry firsts.

The slide-out keyboard and 82mm (3.2-inch) screen make this the first BlackBerry with both Qwerty keypad and touchscreen. It packs GPS, 802.11n Wi-Fi and a 624MHz processor. There's 4GB of onboard memory and a microSDHC memory card slot.

It's also the first 5-megapixel camera from BlackBerry, complete with face recognition.

The Torch offers the first glimpse of BlackBerry 6, the latest version of the BlackBerry operating system. Features include multi-touch, a new browser and a new interface.

Our mobile expert Flora Graham is at a secret location as we speak, and she'll be back imminently, ready to shine a light on the Torch, and the new OS.
