BlackBerry 10 will have video editor, screen sharing

Someone on an Internet forum has leaked details of BlackBerry 10, and there's plenty RIM was keeping schtum about.

Our US cousins went hands-on with BlackBerry 10 last week at BlackBerry World, but it RIM seemed to be keeping schtum about a few features.

Well thankfully a forum user going by the name of Biggulpseh has leaked details aplenty on the new OS over at CrackBerry. So what can we expect? Well there's screen sharing, a tilt-sensitive lock screen that pushes notifications your way based on the device's movement, and a video editor. This way for more details.

Presentation slides reveal the details. If they're genuine, then it looks like screen sharing will be a feature of BlackBerry 10. You'll be able to share your screen while on a call too, which is handy as you can talk through it with someone without having to call back, whether it be something as important as a business presentation or just a picture of some kittens.

Details are scant on the video editor, but it's thought to be the result of an acquisition of Swedish company Jaycut. A new lock screen will let you see a load of information without having to unlock the phone, such as a clock, and notifications. And apparently you'll be able to see more by tilting the handset -- so if a text comes in, tilt the phone one way to see who sent it, then another way to see the next line of text.

When our US cousins went hands-on with the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device, a natty predictive text ability to speed up typing was revealed, which you can see in the video below. The camera app is also said to feature a time-turning feature to shift the exact moment a pic was snapped, to eliminate people blinking and ruining it. See RIM, this is the kind of thing we want to see, not a load of empty marketing speak and flashmob campaigns

What do you think of BlackBerry 10 so far? And what features would you like to see? Let me know in the comments, or on our Facebook page.
