Black Mesa hits Steam Greenlight release

Black Mesa is one of 10 games announced for the first round of releases via Steam Greenlight.

Steam Greenlight, which allows developers to post their games so that users can vote on which ones will get a Steam release, was opened two weeks ago — and the first round of releases has just come through.

There are 10 games on the list, including the third-party Half-Life remake Black Mesa, which was developed using Valve's Source engine and will be available for free. It's not the full game, only letting you play up to the Lambda Core, but further levels will be coming at a later date.
